Hourly Moving

The hourly rate begins when the moving vehicle and crew arrive at the point of origin of the contracted for move, and ends when all of the goods are unloaded at the point of destination, less any scheduled breaks and/or any vehicular breakdown, plus any applicable travel time. The standard hourly rate is from Monday through Friday, from 8:00AM to 5:00PM. The overtime hourly rate is any time in excess of the standard hourly rate, i.e., from 5:01PM to 7:59AM. The holiday hourly rate follows the holiday schedule in the Rates & Charges section, from 8:00AM to 5:00PM. All hourly rates are computed in accordance with the schedules in the Rates & Charges section.

Extra Stops & Pick Ups

The Carrier will charge 1 hour per stop in addition to actual amount of time spent per stop. Stops and pickups that require toll roads will be billed time and toll charges.

Waiting Time

The Carrier will not charge the Shipper for the first ten (10) minutes of waiting, for one occurrence during the course of a scheduled move.

All The Right Movers will wait up to four (4) hours. After four hours of wait time, the move is subject to cancellation. If the move continues after the wait time, hourly moving rates will apply. If the waiting time carries the move over standard business hours, overtime rates will apply for that day.

Toll Charges

The Carrier will charge back all tolls to The Shipper on the final invoice.

Governing References

The Carrier uses Google Maps to compute the mileage between origin and destination of the scheduled move.

Rates & Charges

Standard Hourly Minimum: A minimum of eight (8) hours, per man, per vehicle, will be charged on all moves.

Standard Hourly Rate: $50.00 per man, per hour, per vehicle.

Overtime Rate: $75.00 per man, per hour, per vehicle.

Holiday Rate: $100.00 per man, per hour, per vehicle.

Payment Policy

A 20% deposit of the signed estimate amount is required at the time of scheduling. Payment can be made by cash, certified check, or major Credit Card (Visa or Master Card) or Charge Card (American Express). There will be a $75.00 charge for any returned check and payment will then be required in cash, money order or certified check.

Deposits & Refund Policy

A full refund of the deposit will be granted to the Shipper if an order is cancelled within three days of the Order of Service being signed. A refund of 20% deposit will be returned if a reservation is canceled within 5 business days of the scheduled move. Deposits will not be refunded for cancellations with less than 5 business days’ notice prior to a scheduled move. The Carrier requires written notice at its address of 73 Broad Street, Unit C, Red Bank, NJ 07701 via certified mail, return receipt requested, or notification by phone at 732-852-4125, of intent to cancel within 5 business days of a scheduled move (Monday through Friday 9:00AM to 5:00PM Eastern; does not include Saturday, Sunday, or holidays). Cancellations include a change in pick up/move date or destination as well as an actual cancellation. All The Right Movers will issue a cancellation number. Only that cancellation number is an acknowledgment of a move cancellation. If a Shipper is not provided with a cancellation number, the scheduled move was not canceled with the Carrier and deposit will not be refunded.  The Shipper will receive the assigned cancellation number via email from a live All The Right Movers representative and via traditional postal mail.

The Carrier requires written notice at its address of 73 Broad Street, Unit C, Red Bank, NJ 07701 via certified mail, return receipt requested, or notification by phone at 732-852-4125, of intent to cancel within 5 business days of a scheduled move (Monday through Friday 9:00AM to 5:00PM Eastern; does not include Saturday, Sunday, or holidays). Cancellations include a change in pick up/move date or destination as well as an actual cancellation. All The Right Movers will issue a cancellation number. Only that cancellation number is an acknowledgment of a move cancellation. If a Shipper is not provided with a cancellation number, the scheduled move was not cancelled with the Carrier and the deposit will not be refunded. The Shipper will receive the assigned cancellation number via email from a live All The Right Movers representative and via traditional postal mail.

Standard Discounts

All The Right Movers offers a 5% discount on services/hourly rates for senior citizens (65 years old with proof of identification) and military personnel.

Coverage

The Carrier offers standard valuation coverage of $0.60 per pound.

 

The Shipper may obtain increased valuation by the Shipper or through The Carrier.

Disputes

If any disputes arise and cannot be resolved between you and All The Right Movers, you have the right to request arbitration. However, you must first exhaust all remedies through the moving company’s regular claims process and verify that the mover has issued a final settlement offer.
